Ingredients
- 500g minced goat or lamb (or a mix of both)
- 2 tbsp Eastern Special GOAT & LAMB Kebab Mix
- 1 medium onion, finely grated
- 1–2 green chillies, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive oil)
- Salt to taste (optional – mix already contains seasoning)
Method
1. Prepare the mixture
In a large bowl, add minced goat/lamb, Eastern Special GOAT & LAMB Kebab Mix, grated onion, green chillies, coriander, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and oil.
2. Mix well
Combine thoroughly using your hands until the mixture becomes soft and evenly blended.
3. Rest the mixture
Cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to allow the spices to fully infuse the meat.
4. Shape the kebabs
Shape the mixture into skewers, logs, or patties according to your preference.
5. Cook the kebabs
- Grill: Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned
- Pan-fry: Shallow fry with a little oil until golden and cooked through
- Oven: Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway
6. Serve hot
Serve with naan, pita, or rice, alongside mint chutney, salad, or yoghurt sauce.
