Chicken Malai Boti (Creamy Malai Chicken Tikka) – Fresh, Boneless & Grill-Ready

Chicken malai boti is boneless chicken marinated in-store in cream, cheese, white pepper and mild spice, malai meaning cream. Where tikka brings chilli and colour, malai boti is pale, rich and gentle, which makes it the family-friendly skewer.

The dairy tenderises the meat and keeps it exceptionally moist on the grill. Around 25g protein per 100g cooked. Thread onto skewers and cook over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes a side, or roast at 220C for 15 minutes; watch it closely, as the dairy catches faster than a yoghurt marinade.

Rest for 5 minutes. Serve with naan and mint raita. Marinated fresh on the day, not frozen.
